The STAR 48V 185Ah by LifePower is a smart battery for marine and mobile use, designed to deliver continuous power on the move and in demanding environments. With full deep-cycle LiFePO4 technology, it delivers a high continuous discharge rate without shortening its service life. Ideal for electric vehicles (EV), golf carts, forklifts, solar systems and boats, it can be fully discharged without damage and has built-in protection against over-discharge and extreme heat. Backed by a Full 3-Year Warranty.

Its voltage and capacity are equivalent to a 48V, 555 Ah or 26,640 Wh lead-acid battery.
Size: 67.5 x 30 x 27.5 cm high, weighing 150 lb. Terminals: M8 screw.
Cycle life: more than 1500 cycles at 75A with 50% depth of discharge until 70% capacity, and more than 3500 cycles at 30A with 50% depth of discharge until 70% capacity.
It is designed for a 15-year life.
Maximum charge and discharge: 58.4V, 300 A and 15,360 W, all maximum continuous.

TWICE THE POWER?

Yes! At Life Power we build all our batteries with lithium iron phosphate technology (LiFePO₄), which offers many advantages over traditional batteries. Among them: up to 70% less weight, up to 5 times faster charging and a significantly longer service life (on average 5 to 10 years longer). One of the most notable advantages is the stable voltage curve. Unlike a lead-acid battery, whose voltage drops as it discharges, a Life Power LiFePO₄ battery keeps a constant voltage for 99% of its charge. This means you use all the energy down to the last drop and get twice the usable power of traditional batteries.

ARE LITHIUM BATTERIES SAFE?

Yes. Life Power LiFePO₄ lithium batteries are one of the safest technologies on the market. Their smart management system (BMS) is designed to prevent overcharging, deep discharge, overheating and short circuits. They also include our Armor Shield protection system, which adds an extra level of safety in extreme conditions, making them reliable for cars and motorcycles as well as solar, marine and car audio systems. In short: they are stable, reliable and much safer than traditional batteries.

HOW DO I CHARGE A LITHIUM BATTERY?

If the battery is installed in a car or a motorcycle, the alternator keeps it charged.
If the battery runs down and you want to use an external charger, it must be a charger made for lithium, and the charge must not exceed 14.5V to protect its life and performance.
