Power to spare for your SUV or pickup. The Galaxy 12V 950 CA by Life Power is a dual-purpose lithium (LiFePO4) starting battery: it delivers 950 cranking amps and also works as a deep-cycle battery for car audio, solar power or high-draw equipment.

You can fully discharge it without damage, and it protects itself from extreme engine heat and over-discharge. It lasts up to 7 years or more and is backed by a Full 3-Year Warranty, no proration.

TWICE THE POWER?

Yes! At Life Power we build all our batteries with lithium iron phosphate technology (LiFePO₄), which offers many advantages over traditional batteries. Among them: up to 70% less weight, up to 5 times faster charging and a significantly longer service life (on average 5 to 10 years longer). One of the most notable advantages is the stable voltage curve. Unlike a lead-acid battery, whose voltage drops as it discharges, a Life Power LiFePO₄ battery keeps a constant voltage for 99% of its charge. This means you use all the energy down to the last drop and get twice the usable power of traditional batteries.

ARE LITHIUM BATTERIES SAFE?

Yes. Life Power LiFePO₄ lithium batteries are one of the safest technologies on the market. Their smart management system (BMS) is designed to prevent overcharging, deep discharge, overheating and short circuits. They also include our Armor Shield protection system, which adds an extra level of safety in extreme conditions, making them reliable for cars and motorcycles as well as solar, marine and car audio systems. In short: they are stable, reliable and much safer than traditional batteries.

HOW DO I CHARGE A LITHIUM BATTERY?

If the battery is installed in a car or a motorcycle, the alternator keeps it charged.
If the battery runs down and you want to use an external charger, it must be a charger made for lithium, and the charge must not exceed 14.5V to protect its life and performance.
