The 12V 20A Smart Charger is designed to charge 12V LiFePO4 batteries directly from a 120V AC outlet. Ideal for homes, workshops or technical use, it provides stable, fast and safe charging. It includes protection against short circuit, reverse polarity, overcharge and temperature, for an optimal charging cycle for your LifePower batteries.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The LifePower 12V Smart Charger is designed specifically to charge LifePower LiFePO4 batteries efficiently and safely. Its advanced technology ensures optimal charging, protects the battery and extends its life, and it can even stay connected permanently as a maintainer. Its main features are the AUTO RESTART function, an IP65 rating (dust and splash resistant), and protection against over-temperature, overvoltage, over-current, reverse polarity and short circuits. It also has protection for long-duration charging and is designed to stay connected permanently without damaging the battery. Technical specifications: input voltage of 110–120 V AC at 50/60 Hz, output voltage of 14.4 V DC and output current of 20 A. Maximum charging current is 20 A and charging efficiency is 90% or more. It is compatible with LifePower LiFePO4 batteries and has industrial terminals. LED indicators: flashing red while charging and steady green when 100% full. Safety note: do not connect with reversed polarity. TWICE THE POWER?

Yes! At Life Power we build all our batteries with lithium iron phosphate technology (LiFePO₄), which offers many advantages over traditional batteries. Among them: up to 70% less weight, up to 5 times faster charging and a significantly longer service life (on average 5 to 10 years longer). One of the most notable advantages is the stable voltage curve. Unlike a lead-acid battery, whose voltage drops as it discharges, a Life Power LiFePO₄ battery keeps a constant voltage for 99% of its charge. This means you use all the energy down to the last drop and get twice the usable power of traditional batteries.

ARE LITHIUM BATTERIES SAFE?

Yes. Life Power LiFePO₄ lithium batteries are one of the safest technologies on the market. Their smart management system (BMS) is designed to prevent overcharging, deep discharge, overheating and short circuits. They also include our Armor Shield protection system, which adds an extra level of safety in extreme conditions, making them reliable for cars and motorcycles as well as solar, marine and car audio systems. In short: they are stable, reliable and much safer than traditional batteries.

HOW DO I CHARGE A LITHIUM BATTERY?

If the battery is installed in a car or a motorcycle, the alternator keeps it charged.
If the battery runs down and you want to use an external charger, it must be a charger made for lithium, and the charge must not exceed 14.5V to protect its life and performance.
